Across Loch Leathan to The Storr (ii)

An image I have seared into my brain from a child - to be here, there, was remarkable - I was chattering with excitement like a wee Jack Russell dog I was!!!

Towers of Skye

How did this start??? there are hundreds of these wee towers all set in a jumble of water tossed boulders along the coast - with a delightful view across to Lewis and Harris - nice.

Evidence

Of what? A settlement, a bothy, a shed - who knows and perhaps its good not to know.

The Quaraing (i)

Some sheep have no shame - I was gobsmacked here literally speechless not at the sheep, silly, at the view - the view!

Skye in Fall (that nearly works!!)

We spent hours here, hours and hours the most otherwordly setting I think we've ever found ourselves in - the magnificent and timeless Trotternish peninsula

If I'd seen old Bilbo and his kin here I would not have expressed any surprise! Middle-Earth here in Scotland!
